Hello and welcome to Rootstown High School!  You're at Mr. D's website. 

       

I look forward to meeting all of my new students (and seeing some returning students) as well as all of their parents.

                 

I will be teaching both Algebra II classes, both Pre-Calculus classes, Integrated Mathematics I, and Innovations in STEM

                        

Grade is based on the following:

Assessments - 80% (50% for tests and large projects, 30% for quizzes, presentations and small projects)

Support Material - 20% (homework, classwork, notes, journaling)

 

Materials needed for all math classes:

 

Textbook -Will be issued first week of class. The books must have book cover on it at all times. 

  

The best book cover is a paper bag.

 

Notebook - three ring binder with dividers, 1 inch is best

 

Note:  NO SPIRAL NOTEBOOKS NOR FOLDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

 

 

Materials needed for Innovations in STEM class:

 

A TI- 83 or TI-84 (or TI-84 plus) Graphing Calculator

 

Materials needed for Integrated Math I class:

 

A calculator ( if have TI-83 or TI-84 is fine--but not necessary--a scientific calculator that has trig functions wil be acceptable.

Materials needed for Algebra II:

 

A TI- 83 or TI-84 (or TI-84 plus) Graphing Calculator  

 

Materials needed for Pre-Calculus:

 

A TI-83 or TI-84 Graphing Calculator
